Over the years the Marathon City Brewery has had a great variety of labels. Examples are shown below.

Please note, all the labels are shown with the same width for ease of view. The actual size of the labels varies.

Early pre-prohibition label.

This was probably a prohibition brew label.

This is probably the same label as the one below, but in better condition.

Early after prohibition Tannenbaum label.
This came off a bottle - thus the condition.

This label was on a large 1/2 gallon bottle.

This beer came out in the late 1930's. Fred Brand, president of the brewery at the time, died in 1941 and the beer was discontinued.

This is an overprint label. When breweries were short of labels it wasn't unusual to over print labels in stock with other names or sizes.

Marathon came out with Rib Mountain Beer, however the name was owned by the Wausau Brewing Co., so these labels were quickly changed to Superfine Beer.

This was most likely a misprint label with the gold not printed.

Coasters

Very early and very rare Tannenbaum coaster

This one is more common, but still scarce.

This is a sponge like material that is falling apart.
